I am beautiful
There was once a King who lived in the most beautiful castle high on a hill. He was on the search to find out what “true beauty” was.

So he had a ball and invited all of the most beautiful woman of the land, and they came in there splendor, gorgeous attire, and wearing the finest gems and diamonds. The King danced and talked to everyone of them but inside he was not satisfied no matter what they wore, how much money they had each woman did not know her true beauty, but they each spent more time in comparison with one another and did not walk knowing who they are.

That night the King laid in bed not being able to sleep, tossing and turning asking himself what is true beauty and there must be someone that knows.

Early in the morning he went through the big iron gates that were guarded by soldiers to enter into the town,as he walked he looked up to enjoy the beauty around him in nature, smell the fragrance of the flowers and the birds that sung, when all of a sudden he heard mocking, vulgar language, and he felt someone fall at his feet, he looked down. he asked, ‘who is this that fell at my feet”, a young lady covered with dirt from head to toe, her clothes with holes and tears and long black hair looks up as her piercing and beautiful blue eyes look up at him,”she says with confidence,’I apologize your highness for falling at your feet” and she quickly gets up.The King in a disarray, asks “Why are those man mocking you and screaming vulgar things, she says” They tell me I am not beautiful,I am nothing. Ladies around me say ‘Look at your clothes you disgust me”, but for me your highness its not what I wear that makes me beautiful, its not if I have all that money can buy that defines me, the world doesn’t define me, Its what I believe that defines me.

‘I am beautiful’
That very moment as tears ran down the Kings face he than knew he had found beauty and learned the meaning of it.

“See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is that it did not know him.” 1 John 3:1
